In 2019, I found myself getting divorced, feeling a lump in my breast, and fighting to keep my 4 kids together.
It felt like my world was falling apart and I barely had enough energy to hold on to the strings that were keeping it (and me) together.
I was just moving through the world, doing what I needed to do to survive.
Putting one foot in front of the other, not knowing what the end was going to look like.
But there was a Voice inside that told me that my kids were going to be ok. They were going to stay together with me. And that, yes, the lump is cancer, but you’re going to be ok.
Constantly reminding myself of what I thought I heard gave me the glimmer of hope to just keep on moving.
At the end of it all, I was cancer free, my kids were together, and my divorce was finalized peacefully. That little (big) Voice was right!
Somewhere along the way I had gotten close to 400 lbs and the weight of the world was showing on my physical body.
I had to stop simply surviving and start focusing on thriving! Otherwise, I wouldn’t be here to enjoy any of the life that I just suffered so much for.
I started working on losing weight and started working on my relationship with God.
That’s when everything changed!
It was through my weight loss journey that the Lord started showing me how He wanted to be a part of every area of my life. He didn’t just want my attention on Sundays and Bible Study nights.
It was through my personal weight loss journey that He showed me that all of the dreams and visions that He had given me up to this point were tied to you. And this mission and movement that He placed on my heart!
To help His daughters get free from the bondage of gluttony.
This course is a result of things I’ve learned through my personal journey of losing 80lbs and keeping it off, as well as what I know as a Certified Nutrition Coach. As I continue on my weight loss with God journey, I will continue to share and update the course as well.
Keep coming back to the information and refreshing your memory as you journey along with God. Keep your eyes on Him and what He’s doing in and through you. Not on what’s going on with anyone else’s journey.
